Manage SPAM Filters in DirectAdmin

This guide will demonstrate the most effective method for configuring unwanted message filters in DirectAdmin.

 

1) Log in to DirectAdmin.

2) Navigate to the ‘E-Mail Administration’ section and select the ‘SPAM Filters’ button.

4) To block a specific email address, input the address in the text field and click the ‘Block’ button.

5) To block mail from an entire domain, input the domain name in the text field and click the ‘Block’ button.

6) To block all email containing a specific word, input the word in the text field and click the ‘Block’ button.

7) To block all email larger than a specified size, input the size in the text field and click the ‘Block’ button.

8) If you want to disable the adult filter, click the ‘Disable’ button. This feature will prevent email with adult content from bypassing the filter.

9) After that, choose the option that aligns with your filter criteria to either discard or redirect the email to a spam folder.

10) Once the settings have been configured, click the ‘Save’ button to update the details.

11) To delete a filter, select the corresponding filter and click the ‘Delete Selected’ button.
